Let’s Emancipate (Free) the
Rainbow
Rainbows
are colors and nature and beauty. Rainbows
are colors reflected by nature and the beauty of that.
As we
learned from science, the rainbow is the reflection of the sun’s light off of
rain-drops. However, the rainbow has
also become a very well known symbol for other things!
What is a
symbol? A symbol is simply a sign that
means or “stands for” something else! A symbol
can be a simple way to say things that are not so simple. Sometimes, the meaning that is popular takes
on a whole new life; life that has nothing to do with the original symbol. The
rainbow has come to be known for other things than just the simple beauty of
nature.
HOWEVER,
rainbows really are colors reflected by nature and the beauty of that. That is important to remember and together we
can free the rainbow for all of us, for everyone ………not just for some.
So, if you
love colors and nature and beauty……don’t give up on rainbows, or they will lose
their “wonderfulness”. Rainbows symbolize
color and nature and beauty…… they even can teach us a lot about science. Science is good……….so are rainbows!
Nice lesson, good job.
