Grandma Rainbow is your favorite neighbor who sits on her
porch and the neighborhood kids love to “hang out” with her. She used be a teacher so she always has
crayons and clay and finger paints and all kinds of cool stuff on her
porch. She never says, “I’m too busy
today, she just says, come on let’s play.”
“I will bet you if you draw me a picture, you will learn something
today.”Can you draw me what’s on your mind? What are you thinking? Can you paint a picture of that? Once we get a picture, I will bet you we can
match it with some words? What do you
think, can we pick a color that says how you feel today????It doesn’t matter how good you draw. Maybe it’s just some lines or shapes and
colors. We will figure it out. No matter what it looks like it’s your
special creation. You made it and I want
to put it on my blog because I am sure it is just beautiful and I want everyone
to see it.
I already have some pretty wonderful art from my friends and
I will get started with that until you send me your art. Can’t wait to see what you draw for me. Lines, pictures, colors, that’s all you
need. You will get better as you go
along.

takes care of you send me a .jpeg of your picture—they will know what that
